One River Seminar 04/23/2006

The Seminar was held a Helen Wyan-Hazen Park on April 23, 2006. All of the main river systems where high and dirty and many who planned to attend did not. We tried to fish the Grand with little success and a member of Casey's group did manage to have one on for a minute or two.   The lad in the 1st row of photos and his grand father were at the seminar and Casey ran into them on the river 15 minutes before the seminar started.  He rigged  the young lad's rod with flies and told him were he had to cast into the pool.  Casey went back to the pavilion and soon saw the young lad walk up with his first ever steelhead. Casey apologizes he never got the lad's name. We all ended up fishing Big Creek and several fish were caught.
